A family oriented event with educational programs:

    Learn about whooping cranes and their migration routes across North America, and the dangers they face.
  • 2:00pm ~ International Crane Foundation
    Learn about the use of Radio Telemetry for tracking birds in the field.
  • 3:00pm ~ UW-Madison – BioCorp
    Discover the use of bird banding, and how it helps to determine migration routes.
  • 4:00pm ~ Henry Vilas Zoo
    Through the use of live birds, you will learn about conservation efforts for these species and their habitats.
