Rocky Point Bird Observatory World Migratory Bird Day

With the Public Health Order on gatherings and events this year's World Migratory Bird Day has been changed to a mostly virtual format. The typical in-person events are canceled. Helena Regulating Reservoir World Migratory Bird Day

Pittsburgh World Migratory Bird Day

On May 8th, we’ll host activities at the Frick Environmental Center to engage your larger-than-bird brain and celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, Allegheny Bird Conservation Alliance, The Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, and Allegheny Goatscape. We will have various activities for learners of all ages, from fledgling to adult, that teaches ways to appreciate and help birds in our backyards.

Bird Study Merit Badge

Scouts BSA Bird Study Merit Badge Program

We will be working on the Bird Study merit badge for Scouts registered with Scouts BSA. The program will be on Saturday 8 May from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Waterhole Meadow Shelter of Shawnee Lookout Park. The event is open to all Scouts in the the IN, KY, and OH area. Please complete and bring requirement 11 before you come.

World Migratory Bird Day 2021

Nature Study and Conservation Club, Department of Zoology,Jagannath University is a prominent nature related club in Bangladesh.The club observes World Migratory Bird Day by arranging educational activities,various competitions and awareness programs every year. This year, the activities will be organized in online because of COVID19 pandemic. A Wholesome webinar by bunch of bird experts, online discussion and bird related competition will be held on this day.
