For the fourth year in a row, the University Malaysia Terengganu, University Sultan Zain Alabidin and the Malaysian Nature Society Terengganu Branch are joining efforts again to celebrate the WMBD2018, and raise awareness on bird migration and conservation.
Mr. Anuar McAfee with Dr Abdulmaula Hamza and Mr. Wong Chee Ho will lead more than 80 University students in a smaller groups of birding tour through Lingai forest area, to identify migratory birds and residents, and to highlight the role of such small forest as stopping over site for migrants on their way north for breeding areas in Eurasia.
The event will also include open air talks and discussions and a quiz for participating students: the winners will be awarded with publications of Malaysian Nature Society.
