Learn to Draw Sketches of Migratory Birds at at Silver Falls State Park

Free bird sketching workshops for kids and families taught as part of the 40th Annual Birding and Wildflower Festival at Silver Falls State Park in Oregon. Naturalist and artist, Christine Elder will lead 1-hour workshops where participants will learn about 3 different species that migrate through the area, their migratory routes, life history, identification, and hints for creating realistic sketches of them. Workshops will be both Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13th. The schedule is the same both days: Noon: Sketching Rufous Hummingbird, 1pm: Sketching Wilson's Warbler, 2pm: Sketching Black-headed Grosbeaks.
