Birds of Devínska Kobyla

Raptor Protection of Slovakia invites to observe birds of National Nature Reserve Devínska Kobyla (a Massif of the Little Carpathians).

Devínska Kobyla offers a fantastic view of the river Morava before it merges into the Danube. Paleontologically and geologically interesting place on Devínska Kobyla is Sandberg, remains of the sea cliff with fossil sites. The excursion is suitable also for families with children. We will observe Bee-Eater, Black-Kite, Common Kestrel, Honey-Buzzard, Hoopoe, etc.

Duration: 3 hours (Sandberg – Devín), 2 hours for family with children (Sandberg – Weitov lom – Sandberg)

Meeting point: Notice board at Sandberg, 11th May 2019 at 9.30 a.m.
