Take part in activities to learn about birds, their habitats, conservation and how to make our homes and communities bird-friendly ones. Activities include a 7 AM bird ID walk, 10 AM--view the documentary Paris to Pittsburgh (about climate change), 11 AM--presentation on migration, visit booths set up by Citizen's Climate Lobby, Wisconsin DNR, World Migratory Bird Day and Friends of Mosquito Hill. Visit with the Northeast Wisconsin Birding Club during their "Big Sit", a day to tally birds seen at one site.
In additions we're happy to be joined by the folks from Stone Silo Prairie Gardens, who will be selling native plants with part of the proceeds benefiting Mosquito Hill. A brat sale is also planned.
