World Migratory Bird Day Walking Tours and Art Activities

In celebration of 2019’s World Migratory Bird Day, Articulture is co-hosting a special event with Audubon that includes:

** WALKING TOURS**
Time: Tour A  12 – 1 pm   |   Tour B  1 – 2 pm
Location: Start & end at Articulture
Story tours will showcase painted utility boxes in Seward neighborhood created by our Youth Arts Collaborative. The focus of this project was—Protect What We Love—clean water resources for birds, people and ecosystems. In an effort to care for the environment, we will pick up trash along the way. If you want to help--gloves/bags provided.

**ART ACTIVITIES**
All Ages
Time: 11 am – 3 pm
Location: Articulture
Participants will explore issues of plastic pollution through artmaking using upcycled plastics. Pledges will be hung on our recycled tree in a collective effort to make the world safer for birds and other wildlife.
Projects:
• Bird masks
• Bird sculptures
• Pledges to reduce plastic pollution
