The Syrian Society for the Conservation of Wildlife -SSCW will organize the workshop mentioned above to target audience is the key stakeholders from the hunting sector that have been/will be identified during the sector analysis activity. Focus should be on hunters, local and national law enforcement agencies, judiciary, responsible hunting groups, national government authorities(Min of Agriculture and , Agrarian Reform-MAAR, Min of State for Environment Affairs-MSEA, Min of Interior, Syrian people council(Parleament) ......and other NGOs interested in the hunting sector..
The workshop will cover the following topics:
1- Enforcement of hunting law and having decision makers and politicians to get their support.
2- Training of enforcement staff.
3- Awareness of the newly published data about illegal killing of birds according to the report that was handed last December to MSEA, and MAAR.
