Event to Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day 2025 in Bonn

World Migratory Bird Day is a global campaign that aims to raise awareness of migratory birds and issues related to their conservation. This year’s theme “Shared Spaces: Creating Bird-Friendly Cities and Communities,” highlights the importance of making our cities more bird-friendly, benefitting nature and people alike.

 

Join the global celebration of migratory birds and come enjoy a day of nature-walks and nature-talks as well as a special bird tour for families with children (age 6 and older from 11:00 - 13:00) at the “House of Nature” in Bonn on World Migratory Bird Day.

14:00 - 15:00 Official Opening + Reception (Haus of Nature - Upper Floor, Seminar Room / Registration deadline: 8 May 2025, please register via this link.)

15:00 - 17:00 Bird Mask Creation Table + Nature Education Stand (House of Nature) + Guided Walks into the "Biodiversity Trail" in Bonn's city forest (Waldau / Kottenforst) (leaving from Haus of Nature)
