Waldrappteam - information, education & creativity for the Northern Bald Ibis

On two (maybe even three) locations we inform about the Northern Bald Ibis re-introduction project and offer creative activities for children. The focus lies on WMBD's topic "networks". We stress that it is important to work together on different locations to achieve the goal of reintroducing and managing populations of migratory species (hibernation area, breeding site and stop-over sites). Thus, international networking is necessary. That's why we chose to have our activities on more than one location. On each location we talk about the other involved locations including Italy. Children can make Ibis masks and/or draw images not only of the birds but also try to depict migration and the different sites for wild migratory birds in their own creative way. They can include written messages. Drawings of this topics can be fotographed and posted on the website of WMBD.
