World Migratory Bird Day Workshop at the National Wildlife Federation

Join us for this FREE workshop. This is the longest running annual spring bird count in this area. Held at the height of spring migration, these counts have averaged over 100 species. Teams of volunteers conduct an area search, counting species and individuals. Data is submitted for inclusion in a hemispheric database used by Partners in Flight to chart the status and population trends of resident and neotropical migratory species.

This field trip for this workshop will be on Saturday, May 12 -  instruction will be given in class.

Larry Meade will instruct.
