2nd Grade Fall Migration

The second grade students at Evergreen Elementary will participate in a symbolic fall migration of wildlife species. Students will create and wear paper masks of Washington state animals that migrate, such as hummingbirds, butterflies and salmon. This event will occur inside the school building and around the schoolyard. The purpose of the event is to inspire and prepare students for a year-long study that promotes the understanding of the diversity and changes that occur in their area's natural and built environment.
