Meeker Community Clean Up

As part of World Migratory Bird Day the Blanco Ranger District in Meeker, Colorado in coordination with the Agricultural Department of Meeker High School, planned a Community Clean-Up. Nick Massey, a Junior at Meeker High School, organized the event that was held on June 1. Volunteers from the community cleaned up six 'zones' in the community and completed data sheets on the trash collected. Nearly 500 lbs of trash was collected within three hours.
