Prairie Pines Nature Preserve Goes to the Birds!

Join us in celebrating Nebraska Bird Month and World Migratory Bird Day with bird-inspired activities! Nebraska and the Great Plains are a pathway for many migratory birds, and we love our visiting and resident birds. There will be bird related activities for kids and a book reading and signing by Author and Editor of Nebraskaland Magazine, Jeff Kurrus. Kurrus wrote the children’s books, “Have you Seen Mary?”, “Can you Dance Like John?” and “The Tale of Jacob Swift”.  His books will be available for sale. Prairie Pine’s trails and Nature Ninja course are open to the public from 8 AM – 5 PM on the “Second Saturday” of the month.

Cost: FREE, Donations accepted
