World Migratory Bird Day at the Potter Park Zoo

World Migratory Bird Day celebrates spring with the return of millions of migratory birds to their breeding areas! The zoo partners with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Fenner Nature Conservancy and several other organizations to provide interactive stations throughout the zoo to teach you about the importance of migratory birds, and provide fun activities for the whole family.

World Migratory Bird Day is celebrated in conjunction with GLCVB’s “Be A Tourist In Your Own Town.” Admission is free with a “Be A Tourist” passport available at the zoo and many other locations in the Lansing area.
