The San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory has been banding birds at the Coyote Creek Field Station since 1982. Join us to learn what bird banding is, the history of banding at CCFS, and about the landbirds that are found in the South Bay throughout the year.

Josh Scullen is the Landbird Program Director at SFBBO. He graduated with a bachelors degree from West Virginia University in 2004, and spent the next 5 years doing field work across North America. He ended up at SFBBO in 2009, and has been managing CCFS ever since.

This talk is family-friendly and will be ~30 minutes with additional time for questions & answers. Please register - the meeting link will be sent in the confirmation. If you have trouble registering or have any questions, please contact Sirena Lao, Environmental Education and Outreach Specialist, at [email protected].

This event is made possible by a grant from the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District.
