Conservation Stories with Dr. MK Ranjithsinh Jhala

Green Epiphany, an informal group of people with a vision to increase environmental consciousness among young people. We have organized a webinar on World Migratory Bird Day on the topic of Conservation. We have also invited Dr. Ranjithsinh Jhala, author of India's Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 and is the country's leading conservationist. He has extensively worked in the protection of various animal species such as the Great Indian Bustard, Garihals, Kashmiri stag, and the Asiatic lions. Dr. MK Jhala has served many important positions at many reputed organizations such as CITES, UNEP, Wildlife Trust of India, Wildlife Preservation India, International Whaling Commission, and many more. The many aspects that the webinar will cover are the impact of tourism on conservation, policies on the protection of endangered species with special focus on Birds, and the role of youth in conservation and protection of wildlife. We have received registration to participate from over 100 people across different countries and diverse educational and professional backgrounds.
