How to Sketch the American Kestrel (Online Workshop)

Join naturalist and artist, Christine Elder for a live online workshop on September 24th to learn all about the American Kestrel, one of the featured species for this year’s World Migratory Bird Day.

In this 1-hour workshop, you’ll learn fascinating facts about the American Kestrel's ecology, natural history, and anatomy.

Then Christine will lead you through a step-by-step sketching demonstration where you’ll learn how to create a realistic drawing of this species.

No prior drawing experience is necessary, all you need is a pencil and paper. This will be a fun and educational event for the whole family.

You may attend the live event or watch the replay at your leisure.

This event is co-sponsored by the conservation organizations BirdsCaribbean and Environment for the Americas.
