BANCA will be celebrating World Migratory Bird Day October 2020 Event through an online social media of BANCA Facebook Page. BANCA aims to promote awareness of migratory birds, the importance of their habitats along the flyways and the importance of conserving and restoring the ecological connectivity and integrity of ecosystem. On this occasion, BANCA will organize the online event with five main activities and the details are as follows:
(1) Upload and share posts by using hashtags from 1st to 10th October, 2020 on the BANCA Facebook Page.
(2) Announce the contest for painting and writing poems on 1st October 2020 and the deadline will be the 7th October 2020 and the winners announced on World Migratory Bird Day on the BANCA Facebook Page.
This announcement for this contest will be boosted by payment to get more engagement from people who love birds and nature.
(3) Request questions on migratory birds conservation from people from 1st to 7th October, 2020 by dropping a line in comment box and answers will be given on World Migratory Bird Day through livestreaming on the BANCA Facebook Page.
(4) Upload 10 quizzes per day from 5th to 9th October, 2020 on BANCA Facebook Page and the winners who gave the right answers will be announced on World Migratory Bird Day.
By doing these activities, the people will gain the knowledge and awareness of the importance of migratory bird conservation and we will get more engagement from people and have fun by answering quizzes and getting prizes in the stay home period of the COVID 19 pandemic.
