World Migratory Bird Day Celebration 2021!

World Migratory Bird Day in London!

London, ON – The newly formed London Bird Team is pleased to announce the first ever celebration in London for World Migratory Bird Day. This year’s theme is “Sing, Fly, Soar - like a Bird!”

Julie Read, Bird Friendly London Team member, said, “The London Bird Team is very excited to bring community members this special opportunity to celebrate migratory birds. Each year, thousands of birds make a pit stop in London during their migration. Many migratory birds also choose to nest here because of the diverse wildlife habitat our city provides. Our Environmentally Significant Areas can be wonderful places to see many beautiful migratory species.”
