Academic Salon on Wetland Conservation and Restoration: Working Together to Protect Flyways for Migratory Birds

May 14, 2022 is World Migratory Bird Day. On the occasion of the first anniversary of UNDP-GEF Project Strengthening the Protected Area Network for Migratory Bird Conservation along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway (EAAF) in China, Academy of Inventory and Planning of National Forestry and Grassland Administration, together with Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of Chinese Academy of Sciences, will co-organize an academic salon at Chinese Ecological Forum about wetland conservation and restoration, with a special theme "World Migratory Bird Day - Working Together to Protect Flyways for Migratory Birds". The event will invite GEF project experts, partners and staffs from demonstration sites of national nature reserves to share their work on migratory birds and habitat conservation in China, and to share their knowledge and experience with the online participants.
