Awareness session in teachers college

My name is Rushi Pathak (Wildlifer) I am based out of Ahmedabad, India. I am passionate about wildlife and conservation. I am working with many national and international organizations on wildlife conservation. I and the team also working with the government further.

I used to conduct wildlife-related activities and on the occasion of World migratory bird day, we have arranged an awareness program with Teaching collage. The college is known as "A.G Teachers College" which is located in Ahmedabad. The college is the study center of "Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University". As a center of the open university, they have training programs ongoing. They have one training program regarding climate change. Under that training, they have invited me to conduct a session. For this session, I share information about the migratory bird, their migration route, and how wildlife is affected due to climate change. I also did virtual visit of Thol Bird Sanctury-A Ramsar site which is located in Gujarat state.

The main motive of this session is to educate and aware our participants with correct information. As our participants are teachers who are already on duty with their respective regions. They are teachers so they will pass correct information to their students who are the future. Beacue of that our future genration will sesitize with birds, nature and wildlife.

In addition on the date of 15/04/2022 ill be going to conduct a virtual visit and awareness programs with underprivileged children so they also understand about the birds and migration.
