World Migratory Bird Day Global Light Pollution Webinars

In the run-up to the second peak-day of World Migratory Bird Day 2022 coming up on Saturday, 8th of October – we are delighted to have been able to conduct two webinars on the this year’s theme of light pollution.Together with our partners, we were able to offer two World Migratory Bird Day Global Light Pollution Webinars – with the first one providing a general overview of the impact of light pollution (held at 5 pm CET on Thursday, 6 October),  and a second webinar looking at solutions and policies aiming to address light pollution (held at 9 am CET Friday, 7 October) .

  • Caesar San Miguel, Senior Policy Officer at the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water of the Australian Government
  • Ivo Tejeda, Director of the Network of the Red de Observadores de Aves y Vida Silvestre
  • Marco Barbieri, Scientific and Technical Officer at the Convention on Migratory Species (CMS)
