'Tales from the Flyway'

'Tales from the Flyway'.

In 2008 a Japanese kamishibai picture story about the migration of a Red-necked stint, was sent along the East Asian Australasian Flyway from the Yatsuhigata Tidelands in Narashino City to Boondall Wetlands in Brisbane (sister wetlands). Then in April this year, Boondall sent the story further down the Flyway (as jpegs), for us to share with the children in Hobsons Bay (Melbourne). We have five significant wetlands in our area. Together with the Newport Community Choir, Storyteller Jackie Kerin and violinist Sarah Depasquale will sing and tell the story of Tom the Red-necked stint to children and their families and friends.
