World Migratory Bird Day Bird Walk along the Rio Grande River

Public bird walk on the Rio Grande River dike in Alamosa, CO. This event is open to all ages! Early bird event starts at 9:00 AM on May 4th. We will be meeting in the parking lot just over the bridge on N. River Road. From the parking lot, we will take a small walk along the dike observing any bird species we come across and providing any information about the birds we have. Bring water, some snacks, and binoculars if you have them. We will be providing small binoculars to those in need while supplies last! The walk will be led by Environment for the Americas crew members---Alex Mullins and Ricky Martinez.
