Family Fun Day/Point Reyes Birding & Nature Festival

Family Fun Day is a free event with exploration and fun geared to families with budding birders ages 3-15. Planned by the Environmental Action Committee (EAC) of West Marin and Amigos Alados, the festival will be held on Sunday, April 21st, on the Livery Lawn outside of the EAC offices, 65 3rd Street, Point Reyes Station. Volunteers from All About Owls will start the event with a live owl presentation, and then participants can visit nature-oriented science and art & crafts tables. From 1:00 to 1:45 the Pretty Swell Band will entertain with nature songs. Our partner learning stations will include Project Coyote, the CA Wolf Foundation, the Marin Monarch Working Group, Point Blue Conservation Science, the Point Reyes Marin County Free Library, Turtle Island Network/SPAWN, Latino Outdoors, Amigos Alados, and the EAC.
