Bird Watching with JBW in the Madaba - Dead Sea region

We will start bird watching in the plains and farmland around Madaba, continue in the hilly areas west of Madaba, then head to the rift margins overlooking the Dead Sea to watch the passage of soaring birds - we expect fairly large numbers of migrating honey buzzard and perhaps some other migrant species. We will spend the afternoon and have lunch in a small valley near the Dead Sea. This event is organised by Jordan Bird Watch Association (www.jordanbirdwatch,com) in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ - Ecosystem Services Project).
