Taller de difusión: Migración y Conservación de aves en Bolivia - Awareness raising Workshop: Migration and bird conservation in Bolivia

El primer día, charlas abiertas al público en general, especialmente estudiantes de carreras afines al medio ambiente, que tratarán sobre la importancia de la conservación de las aves y la biodiversidad en Bolivia, con énfasis en las aves migratorias y sus hábitats.
El segundo y tercer día se harán salidas de campo a los alrededores de la ciudad, visitando parte de bosque seco interandino y parte de la puna. Estas salidas tendrán como objetivo la observación e identificación de aves, así como el aprendizaje en el uso de material de campo.
The first day there will be lectures for the general public, especially students of environmental related careers, which will deal with the importance of bird conservation and biodiversity in Bolivia, highlighting migratory birds and their habitats.
During the second and third day we will have field trips to the city surrounding area, and visits to the Inter-Andean dry forest and the puna. These excursions aim is to do bird watching and identifying species, and learning the use of field material.
