World Migratory Bird Day 2014

Since 2008 until now, consistent with other fons all over the world, Department of Environment of Hormozgan Province has celebrated Migratory Bird Day by implementing programs such as training workshops, birdwatching for students, drawing and painting competition for kids, publishing brochures and posters and media reports. Accoring to the WMBD 2014 Theme, On May 14, Doe of hormozgan province cooprated with Mashq-e-Afarinesh NGO-Training Company held a training workshop in DOE of Hormozgan Provincial Office for ecotour guides.

WE ARE GOING TO INVOLVE ALL THE OFFICIAL BIRD GUIDES,SCHOOL CHILDREN AND TOURISTS IN THE GAMBIA AND THEY WILL BE SENT TO DIFFERENT DESTINATIONS THAT ARE IMPORTANT MIGRATORY SITES. WE ARE IN CONTACT WITH THE COCOA COLA COMPANY IN THE GAMBIA (GAMBEGA) AND GAMBIA TOURISM BOARD TO SPONSOR US HOST THIS EVENT.

Will be organising wirdwatching event on wetland near Tunis city, A radio spot and interview about the events and migratory birds, mainly waterbirds related to the wetland conservation issues

World Migratory Bird Day at Aras River Bird Paradise

KuzeyDoga Society Aras Bird Research and Education Center is going to have an educational activity and birdwatching for both university, high school students and visitors from Igdir province. KuzeyDoga Society is organizing this event with the collaboration of Igdir Directorate of the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs and Igdir University. The team is going to share the importance of this wetland for migratory bird species. It hosts 13 bird, 6 mammal, and 6 reptile and amphibian species globally threatened or near threatened with extinction.

Les voies de migration des oiseaux, une destination écotouristique

La célébration de la journée mondiale des Oiseaux migrateurs aura lieu pour la première fois à Sebkhet Soliman. L'objectif de l’événement et de sensibiliser la population locale sur l'importance de la préservation des richesses ornithologiques du site. - Un atelier d’information : Présentation du site, richesse ornithologique et le passage des oiseaux migrateurs. - Une visite guidée au site.
