Will organize a two day bird watching camp for the school children and media personal. There will also be distribution of leaplets and photograpy etc.

YOUTH ENVIRONMENTAL SCHOOLS

we are targeting 300 community volunteers who have confirmed their participation in our event. 1.Tree planting along Samia Hills ,conducting training and workshops for community living along Busia grass lands. Our main conservation focus is on the Busia grass lands IBA. 2.Conducting trainings in Schools and establishing tree nursery in 8 schools along Busia grass lands.

Aves migratorias en la ría de Avilés

Diversas actividades alrededor de las aves migratorias en los alrededores de Avilés y su ría.
Concurso de dibujo para escolares, visitas guiadas y jornadas de observación de limícolas en el Monumento Natural de la Charca de Zeluán y Ensenada de Llodero, exposición de dibujos en el Centro Comercial El Atrio del 30/4 al 13/5, exposición de fotos y varteles en el centro municipal de educación ambiental La Noria, charlas en 8 colegios.

Lectures in schools and birdwatching

Students from Arkhangelsk State University will prepare and give a series of lectures and presentations about migratory waterbirds of Berents Sea region for local schoolchildren. Beside this, the student team will conduct observation and counting of staging geese in the vicinity of Arkhangelsk.

Return of a European cultural bird: the Northern Bald Ibis

Since years we present our Northern Bald Ibis (NBI) conservation project at the world migratory bird day. This year we collaborate with Zoo Vienna. It is mother’s day and a lot of families will visit the zoo. At a central place members of our team will offer information material at an information desk. In addition children are invited to tinker NBI masks. Due to the topic of the World Migratory Bird Day we aim to highlight, that the history of the NBI particularly here in Europe is closely linked to human culture. It is a history of promotion and persecution.

Celebrando las Día Mundial de las Aves Migratorias en Chiloé

We will prepare a program that start visiting schools closed to important bird areas and doing an introduction to the subject following by training and birdwatching activities. In the next days, we are planning to meet people from indigenous communities and have a conversation about their sense about birds and the importance of its in their culture. As well that we will be visiting others wetlands closed to them and doing outdoor activities with volunteers of out Chiloe Bird Observatory Group.

Migratory Soaring Birds over the Rift Valley in Palestine

In this event PWLS will celebrate World Migratory Birds Day (WMBD) in Jericho for two days. This event will include the subjects of Migratory Soaring Birds & Tourism, Migratory Soaring Birds & Waste Management and Migratory Soaring Birds & Agriculture. PWLS will organize this event in Jericho for more awareness of these subjects under the motto of: Migratory Birds and People-Together through time.

Migratory Bird Day Festival! - Helena Valley Reservoir

Join the Migratory Bird Day Committee for this wonderful day of celebrating the birds! Early morning bird walks begin at 6:30 AM and continue throughout the day with hike leaders on hand for family bird walks. Other activities include bird art with Jane Beasley, bird photography with Kenton Rowe, live birds, origami, face painting and tattoos, build your own bird house, watch the herons in their nests, and decorate your own bird cookie! The Performance Tent schedule is filling up with outstanding performances throughout the day!
