Grand Isle Migratory Bird Festival

The annual Grand Isle Migratory Bird Celebration takes place Friday to Sunday, April 20-22, 2018, throughout the town of Grand Isle. The three-day event coincides with the annual migration of birds across the Gulf of Mexico. There are expert-led birding tours, a tour of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries research lab and kayak and boat tours to mangroves and rookeries. More than 168 species of birds were identified last year. Times and admissions vary.
