Natural Bridges State Beach and the Santa Cruz Bird Club will be having an International Migratory Bird Day from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. on May 12 at Natural Bridges, 2531 W. Cliff Drive. The event will include guided bird walks and bird listens starting at 8 a.m.
The Bird School Project will lead family bird walks. The club will have educational booths, a bird call workshop, lessons on how to build nesting boxes and create bird-friendly backyards, instructions on a free bird identifying app, crafts, face painting and binoculars cleaning.
