WMBD Wenthworth's Location

Venture north to Coos County for a first-hand look at New Hampshire Audubon’s Rusty Blackbird long-term research project.  Visit areas that have supported nesting pairs in recent years and (hopefully) observe some Rusty Blackbird breeding behavior.  Experience a nest searching activity to learn about the work of our biologists. Meet at the Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge office on Route 16 north of Errol.  Be prepared for wet and potentially wintry conditions (hats, mittens, and waterproof boots strongly recommended!) Leader: Carol Foss, Senior Advisor for Science and Policy. [email protected] or 603-482-3360 Registration required. Fee: $5/person
