World Migratory Bird Day – This Year’s Theme - “Protect Birds: Be the Solution to Plastic Pollution”
Bird Protection Quebec will honour this theme with a combined “field trip/clean-up” event at BPQ’s Montée Biggar Bird Sanctuary in Godmanchester, QC.
ITINERARY: We begin the day with a morning of birding along this quiet rural road. Then, for those wishing to stay and help, we’ll be doing a spring clean-up along Montée Biggar, picking up the trash that has accumulated along the road. Please bring your work gloves, waterproof footwear, and any other implements which you think might be useful. BPQ will supply the heavy-duty garbage bags.
Stay for as little, or long as you like. Bring your lunch! Enjoy the birds, and the camaraderie, working with BPQ to maintain and protect this important birding habitat.
