Birds Without Borders: A World Migratory Bird Day Festival

Join the Children's Forest of Central Oregon and our various partners to discover Birds Without Borders!  This family-friendly, cross-cultural festival is being held at Tumalo State Park day-use area. Activities are being presented in both English and Spanish, so get prepared to learn about the risks, benefits and obstacles of living a migratory bird's life!  Get active in the Bird Migration game, try out different adaptations at the Bird Beak Buffet feeding station, and build yourvery own Bird House.  You can even find out what it's like to be a Citizen Scientist by learning about netting and banding birds for research.

This event happens from 9:00am - 1:00pm and features games, information booths, and fun for the entire family.  Join us at the park and fly with us as we learn and play together!

The event is free, but there is a parking fee of $5.00 observed.
