Armand Bayou Nature Center is focusing 2019 on plastic pollution. All the details for the day’s event have yet to be finalized.
We are planning a 7 am guided birding hike on Sunday, April 28, 2018, for as well as a tour of our Colonial Water Birds Rookery, for those who would like to learn from some of our very best birders. We are planning to have speakers, activities, and birding opportunities that will focus on the effects plastics have on our different habitats. Our goal is to improve our local area as an oasis for migratory bird.
