Yampatika Spring Festival and World Migratory Bird Day Celebration!

This FREE Community Event is open to the entire community with activities focused on families and kids of all ages, and will be held at Legacy Ranch! Hands-on education activities will be offered between 10 am - 1 pm with topics including:

  • World Migratory Bird Day- The US Forest Service will be there helping with fun bird education activities and some Citizen Science opportunities
  • Yampatika Naturalists will provide water education and geology activities
  • Live bird presentations by Nature's Educators
  • Yampa Valley Sustainability Council will have activities on reducing our plastic use
  • Bee Grateful Farm will be doing gardening activities

This is a collaborative event with parking at the US Forest Service Office (925 Weiss Drive) and shuttles donated by Moving Mountains to bring people to the event site at Legacy Ranch. Visit the Yampatika website for more information: www.yampatika.org
