Celebrating World Migratory Bird Day 2020 with Dhaka University Nature Conservation Club

The World Migratory Bird Day is a global campaign dedicated to raising awareness of migratory birds and the need for international cooperation to conserve them. This year on May 9 the world will join together to stand for and spread the love of our remarkable feathery friends. This year’s World Migratory Bird Day sets the theme #birdsconnectourworld.

The Dhaka University Nature Conservation Club (DUNCC) of the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh resonates the same. Bangladesh is a route within the East Asian-Australasian Flyway and hosts diverse migratory shorebirds and more! In these wearing weeks and trying times, the DUNCC steps up toward the call of solidarity for the avian migrants. The DUNCC will be hosting an array of online events in #WMBD2020. In the form of short clips, quizzes, science illustrations, poster presentations, the club call in for participation from every nature enthusiast of the country.
