Houston Virtual Celebration of World Migratory Bird Day 2020

This year, Houston Audubon and the City of Houston, along with our partners in conservation, will host the first online-only WMBD event. We will have activities, workshops, presentations, birding, and more in celebration of World Migratory Bird Day. Join in on any and all of the events and activities to learn more about the importance of Houston for migratory birds and how you can celebrate, enjoy, and protect our migratory species from home!

Stay tuned for the schedule of virtual events, to include:
- Why Are Birds Important? With Mary Anne Weber and the Houston Audubon education raptors
- Birding 101 with Glenn Olson
- Welcoming Birds to Your Yard with Anna Vallery
- USFWS Houston Community Partnerships and Engagement Program presents a Facebook Watch party of "Wild Birds" with Refuge Ranger Felice Yarbough
Global Big Day Birding Bonanza with the Houston Arboretum
- And more!

We will be sharing fun, at-home, bird-themed activities for all ages in the coming weeks, so be sure to follow along!
