International Migratory Bird Day Interpretive Bird Walks

Here in Golden we are blessed to live next to the Columbia River Wetlands, a key resting stop for thousands of migratory birds. Wildsight Golden loves birds and birdwatching so we will celebrate this day buy hosting two bird walk events with our amazing naturalists.

Go on a morning or evening bird walk for International Migratory Bird Day. There will be two birding sessions that day. The first will be a Morning Walk beginning at  Reflection Lake. Later in the day will be an Evening Columbia Wetlands Bird Watching tour that includes a drive down the valley, starting at Reflection Lake and finishing at Castledale, stopping along the way. Binoculars and spotting scopes will be provided and birder enthusiasts of all abilities and families are welcome.

These will be by registration and registration will be limited as per Public Health orders, so it would be preferable that people registered for one session or another, not both. Please register by emailing [email protected] with the number of people attending. We must cap our registration at 10 right now, but we will watch Public Health Orders carefully and let you know if we can have more people involved.

This event costs are per donation with a suggested donation of $10 per person.  REGISTATION REQUIRED - email [email protected]
