The Italian NGO CELIM and the Albanian Ornithological Society (AOS), together with Tirana European Youth Capital 2022, will organise a conference in Tirana on the potential of birdwatching to enhance the tourism offer in Albania. It will follow an intervention on how light pollution can affect bird migration and thus birdwatching tourism in Albania. After the workshop, there will be a guided birdwatching experience in the Divjaka-Karavasta National Park, a crucial area for bird migration in Albania.
The initiative is funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation within the NaturAlbania BLUE coAL-ITion project, implemented by CELIM in partnership with the Italian NGOs CESVI and VIS.
