How to track light pollution at sea? Ask the birds! (Media release)

In celebration of WMBD, the New Zealand Department of Conservation is releasing a new research report on light pollution in the high seas as measured by GLS tags attached to seabirds as well as an associated online open access tool that will allow anyone to explore light pollution in the high seas. This release will be accompanied by a press release, social media posts, blog posts, and internal departmental messaging.
