Grasslands Naturalists and the Interpretive Program are celebrating Migratory Bird Day on May 14. This is part of our joint effort with Nature Canada to become a Bird Friendly City. Join local experts for a bird walk - beginners are welcome. Find out the best places in our region for watching birds. Get information about how to make your home safer and yard more accommodating for birds (it's more than bird feeders). The event will take place at the Nature Center in Police Point Park. Come to the Nature Center in Police Point Park - event hours are 10 am to 3 pm. Registration may be required for a bird walk. The Nature Center is located at 1001 Police Point Drive NE in the heart of Police Point Park.
