Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day on May 7 with Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge. The staff will be celebrating migratory birds as they make their way to their breeding grounds. Many bird species stop to rest at the refuge or stay to nest. Join them for a variety of fun and educational activities including a 9 a.m. Beginning Bird Walk. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. enjoy bird crafts, display tables, a Bird Olympics activity, and receive giveaways including bird stickers and temporary tattoos.
