Songbird Celebration Mini Event

Songbird Celebration Mini Event

Saturday, April 23  10am-1:30pm

Blue Jay Point County Park

This year we are observing the World Migratory Bird Day theme “Dim the Lights for Birds at Night” spotlighting the impacts of light pollution on migratory birds and provide ways that people can reduce light pollution at home, in their neighborhoods, and in their communities. Come see how we incorporate that theme as you enjoy bird-related activities, crafts, and games at the park.  This is a great, all-outdoor outing for individuals, families, scouts, and other youth groups.  This is a free, family-friendly event for a fun day. Check our website for more information, the website will be updated!

If you need our address it’s 3200 Pleasant Union Church Road, Raleigh, NC, USA 27614, and if there is any other information you need please let me know. I added the link to our website in that description but if that doesn’t work here is the direct link: https://www.wakegov.com/departments-government/parks-recreation-open-spa...

We’re excited to be able to bring this event back in person (even if smaller in scale) to celebrate WMBD!
