World Migratory Bird Day 2022

The Malaysian Nature Society Terengganu Branch and the International Centre, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) will work with university students from two countries so participants can gain a broader understanding of bird migration, understand that it takes place everywhere, and that our problems are global problems, while solutions can be implemented locally. In the morning, participants at UniSZA will start with a birdwatching walk around UniSZA campus counting migrants. This is followed by several talks on birds in Terengganu and bird migration. In the afternoon students from the University of Tripoli, Libya will join the programme online and there will be several more talks on bird migration for participants in Malaysia and Libya.
