To celebrate the WMBD, the Armenian Society for the Protection of Birds (ASPB) will run a birdwatching tour for citizens in Yerevan, in the Tumanyan City Park opposite. Additionally, ASPB will partner with the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies in Armenia to deliver: (a) slide shows and presentations on important thematic issues about migration such "Key Barriers to Bird Migration", (b) “Bird Migration Role Play” for students of TUMO, which will help to understand the barriers that birds face on their journeys; as well as (c) quiz shows and vocal identification of birds to raise the awareness of and specific interest about Armenia's fascinating bird life among younger generation.
