There will be a public talk on "Networking to conserve the invisible bird superhighway" on Sat 4 May, followed by a birdwatching trip on Sunday 5 May to Pantai Remis coast to record migratory waterbirds and other migrant passerines.
A seminar intended to inform government officials, academic establishments and private sectors on concerns regarding migratory birds. Resource persons are experts in their field and their expertise are relatively regional, thus making it more relevant to the audience.
Education awareness programs are the regular part of the RSNH activities along with the observations from the landscapes/field (rural areas) aroun Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India. The regular field observations continue from Jan to March and the after indoor awareness activities (class room) continue till May end.
The Egyptian Red Sea coast is one of the most important resting places for migrating birds from Europe. Especially in spring and autumn you can observe several common and rare birds, such as White Storks, Cranes or swallows. During the whole year waterfowls can be found in the mangroves and around the Red Sea coast. Nesting Ospreys, feeding Reef Herons and resting Ibises can be found.
May 10, 2013 is the last day of school for the students at the Innoko River School. We are starting the summer programs the day after and will be celebrating Migratory Bird Day. We would like to connect with schools in South America and track birds that we share. We would enjoy learning indigenous stories about the birds we share as well.

Meet at the specified location and join Pat Miller (8 am) or Robin Taylor (10 am) to learn more about birds. All levels and ages of birders are invited to attend and our guides will help you use binoculars and bird guides to locate the birds. We ask that all children be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The bird walks are open and free for all, but please come early to reserve a spot in case they fill up.
