Media Event

A report which one filed by me in Sindh Express about migratory birds of Sindh, Pakistan.

We are going to involve the children of local school for the WMBD 2013 event. The local town in which we are going to celebrate WMBD 2013 is located in the Gobi Desert and a number of migratory birds pass through the region during their great migration. Mongolia is a developing country and there are limited people who love birds. Thus, we hope to increase the number of bird lovers by as many as possible.

During the World Migratory Bird Day, we will organize a nation wide event with governmental and local organizations. There will be presentations on migratory birds, migration routes, a day birding, bird photographs contest and other public related activities.

During the Migratory Bird Day in Mongolia, we will organize nationwide event for migratory birds with national governmental oraganizations and NGOs. Experts will give speeches for the public. Special birding event will be organized by the organizing committee in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Cross border corporation is a recent activity for this celebration this year. As you know NGO "FINCH" has celebrated WMBD since 2009 in the Republic of Kosovo so this time we are planning to organize a bird watching session in a well-known wetland near the town of Kukes in Albania. Together with some of Albanian NGOs, Finch will try to join different organization of two countries in one place.

The activities will include Birdwatching with WABSA students Speech by Gambia Tourism Board/AEWA focal point The Gambia and WABSA CMB project achievement Radio Talk Show at West Coast Radio FM at 92.1 FM at 9.00 ( o'Clock in the morning to 10 O'clock

Since 2008 until now, consistent with other fons all over the world, Department of Environment of Hormozgan Province has celebrated Migratory Bird Day by implementing programs such as training workshops, birdwatching for students, drawing and painting competition for kids, publishing brochures and posters and media reports. Accoring to the WMBD 2014 Theme, On May 14, Doe of hormozgan province cooprated with Mashq-e-Afarinesh NGO-Training Company held a training workshop in DOE of Hormozgan Provincial Office for ecotour guides.

This event will be organized in our camping site in Limth, Dragash Municipality, Kosovo. Before we go to Limth, we are going to visit a wetland of Liqeni i Breznes which is on the road to Limth. Limth is a camping site where our organization frequently goes there with its members and sometimes for a couple of day with the reason of bird watching, tourism, hiking, etc.

La Journée Mondiale des Oiseaux Migrateurs va consister à organiser une conférence à l’université de Sonfonia afin d’expliquer, aux étudiants, le thème de cette année et les possibilités de création d’emplois liées à la conservation de la Biodiversité en général et les Oiseaux Migrateurs en particulier. Des flyers ont été distribués dans plusieurs universités de la capitale telles que les Universités Gamal Adbel Nasser, Koffi Annan, UNC … Il est prévu aussi du Birdwatching avec des enfants d’écoles primaires et quelques universitaires.
