Media Event

The Lagos Creek Bird Watching event will feature young bird enthusiast from the network of wildlife clubs in Nigeria . They will be exposed to the art of bird watching for tourism and conservation value. Youth participants will also raise awareness within the creek community on the important acne of protecting the migratory bird species

This local informative event in the Ionain islands of Corfu and Paxoi will present the magical journey of migration and the threats migratory birds face!

We aim to engage the local hunting community in a live discussion regarding the contentious issue of spring killing in Greece and to empower the individuals that wish to publicly defend migratory birds against poachers.
This event is part of the LIFE Information and Communication Project "Safe haven for Wild Birds", which runs a 3-year campaign against illegal killing on the Mediterranean.

This event will be organized in our camping site in Limth, Dragash Municipality, Kosovo. Before we go to Limth, we are going to visit a wetland of Liqeni i Breznes which is on the road to Limth. Limth is a camping site where our organization frequently goes there with its members and sometimes for a couple of day with the reason of bird watching, tourism, hiking, etc.

A Reception celebrating WMBD, featuring welcoming speeches from invited guests and Chief Executive of EAAFP. Including an exhibition of migratory bird photography (in cooperation with Birds Korea), and educational activities for children.

L'Association des Amis de l'Environnement (AAE) a célébré la Journée mondiale des oiseaux migrateurs 2014 sous le thème " Les voies de migration des oiseaux : destinations touristiques" en organisant des activités de sensibilisation à l'égard du grand public. Des silhouettes (coloriage) + les photos des oiseaux migrateurs qui passent par la région de Biskra, ainsi que des cartes postales et des autocollants ont été distribués au participants, notamment aux enfants. L'évènement a été couvert par la radio locale.
